Animus AI Blocker Early Access Support

This page covers the free Chrome Early Access extension, not the separately tested Android app. It works on supported social websites; coverage depends on the page layout and whether the site exposes a supported disclosure for that post. It does not filter inside native mobile apps or promise coverage on every website. See the Animus AI Blocker home page for availability, planned mobile pricing and the limits of each version.

Quick controls

• Use the extension popup to turn protection on or off for the current website.
• Open Settings to enable or disable each supported website.
• Select Show once to reveal one filtered post without changing its decision.
• After using Show once, select Not AI if the filtering was wrong. There is one button for the whole post. The correction stays on this device and does not apply to other posts from that creator. If a stable post ID is unavailable, it applies only to this page visit and a message explains that limitation. It is not a report to the social platform or a verified training label for individual media items.
• The optional Reddit AI-flair setting is off by default. When enabled, it filters supported exact AI-generation post flairs as your personal preference, not as a verified AI verdict. A creator's profile or generic AI discussion is not enough.
• Use the Animus AI Blocker image/video context menu to mark visible AI content that was missed. This also remains local in the first release.
• Export Early Access feedback from Settings only when you choose to share the bounded product-feedback file. It contains no media, URLs, text, accounts, fingerprints, or per-record timestamps and grants no model-training rights.
• Open the toolbar on the affected site and use Copy privacy-safe support status. It includes only the supported service, extension/config version, and attached/authorized/scanned/media-observed booleans; it contains no URL, post, account, text, media, fingerprint, or activity timestamp and is never sent automatically.
• Export the privacy-safe local summary from Settings when support asks for broader aggregate diagnostics.
• Reset local decisions from Settings or uninstall the extension to remove its Chrome-managed local storage.

Early Access detection boundary

The first release automatically filters only strong, attributable evidence such as an exact platform declaration that content was generated, trusted synthetic Content Credentials, or a known local decision. Broad labels such as “AI modified” may describe editing rather than generation and do not hide a post by themselves. Uncertain content stays visible.

If any eligible image or video in a supported post is flagged for filtering, the whole post's filter surface is hidden. A Not AI correction applies to that whole post, including its other media; it does not certify that every item was human-made.

Animus AI Blocker can miss AI-generated content, and platform pages can change without notice. A broken post, misplaced filter notice, focus problem, repeated error, or incorrect hide is a product defect—not an expected tradeoff. Turn off the affected site and report it.

A label may appear only after opening a post or expanding a description. Unlabeled profile tiles and previews can remain visible. On YouTube watch pages, the intended replacement is the video player; unrelated recommendations and comments remain available. The current English YouTube rule recognizes Made with AI; Altered or synthetic content alone is treated as a broader involvement disclosure and does not automatically hide the video.

Report a problem

• the affected site;
• Chrome and Animus AI Blocker extension versions;
• what you expected and what happened;
• whether disabling and re-enabling the site changed the result; and
• an optional privacy-safe screenshot only if you choose to provide it.

Do not send passwords, login data, private feeds, direct messages, full browsing histories, or copyrighted media you do not have permission to share. Remove account names and unrelated personal information from screenshots.

Privacy/security or broken-post reports are acknowledged within one business day during Early Access. Other reports are acknowledged within three business days. A severe privacy or wrong-post-replacement issue may cause Animus AI Blocker to remotely disable only the affected site adapter while it is investigated.
